How to Talk to Your Clinician About the Nella Comfort Kit
When you arrive at your appointment with your Comfort Kit, you’re advocating for a better exam experience for yourself and women everywhere. Here’s what to do next.
When do I hand over the kit?
Start the conversation with your clinician by showing them the Kit and letting them know that a comfortable pelvic exam is important to you.
What do I say when I give my provider the Kit?
Tell your clinician that you have a new, innovative speculum you’d like to use. You can let them know Nella is registered with the FDA and is designed specifically to improve patients’ comfort. Here are more ideas:

I just want to say that I just used a Nella Comfy Kit for my practice embryo transfer and it was AWESOME. I've only ever had extremely unpleasant to mildy traumatic experiences with speculums at physician offices. More recently, I was told during my first practice embryo transfer that I would need to go under anesthesia because they needed to use the largest speculum size because of how my uterus is placed. I did a second practice transfer this morning and Nella it was snug, easier to use for my provider and I had no pain or discomfort. I also love these socks.
